Why Are Stretch Mark Removal Creams So Popular?

In the never ending quest to look and feel desirable, it's safe to say that most women of any age and origin will try most anything to minimize flaws especially when it comes to their skin's youthful appearance. It is for this very reason that body scarring and stretch marks rank very high on the list of things to hide. That is the number one catalyst behind the skin care industry raking in over one billion dollars a year on stretch mark removal cream.

Unfortunately, these ego deflating unsightly marks show up in over ninety five percent of women as a result of pregnancy, due to weight gain and over stretching of the skin, or from growth spurts during puberty. But honestly, it's the tender, dark purplish deep welts that occur while pregnant that really cause women to feel awful about showing off their bodies at the beach or sadly even in the privacy of their own bedroom. Constantly covering up and hiding your stretch marks in public can become troublesome for most women and cause low self esteem by ruining their body image.

Although, there are a few alternative removal treatments available such as laser therapy, dermabrasion and surgical tummy tucks. They can be quite costly and are not guaranteed. In short, your out of luck if you are less than thrilled with your results. The methods mentioned above may also have higher risk for infection and cause much pain and discomfort. It's no wonder that stretch mark cream sales are setting record numbers both in stores and online.

These cosmeceutical products are not inexpensive, the average one month supply of name brand stretch mark cream such as TriLastin, Revitol or Skinception can sell for upwards of one hundred dollars per tube. Still, when compared to cosmetic surgery and spa treatments that are not covered by insurance and will cost thousands out of pocket, the idea of using a stretch mark removal cream is quite appealing to most women, hence it's ongoing popularity.

It is important to remember that these permanent tears or stria as they are called are etched deep within the layers of the skin and can never truly be erased. One must be realistic when attempting to improve the look and texture surrounding the effected areas. Any topical cream who claims to get rid of stretch marks forever is not worth purchasing. It is these unscrupulous manufactures that ruin the expatiation's of willing consumers. The three companies mentioned in this article, are fine examples of specialty skin care products that really do produce dramatic visible results, providing the product is used correctly for at least two consecutive months, twice daily.

Customers should be able to buy with confidence, knowing their results and satisfaction is guaranteed and Risk Free. This point is extremely important when it comes to investing in any type of expensive skin care treatment.

In Conclusion, If you have ever considered ordering a removal cream to fade, minimize and smooth out your stretch marks, I would say, do it. Just do your homework first before parting with your money. Start by reading product reviews, client testimonials, customer reviews and most of all check out the companies reputation and return policy. Self image is very important these days and I believe that anything done to improve upon yourself is a wise investment in happiness.

An Introduction to Lace Front Wigs.

There are many possible reasons why people wear wigs. Some do so because their hair has fallen off due to chemotherapy or some other medical treatment. Others prefer wearing wigs rather than spend several hours a day fixing up their real hair. There are also those that wear wigs as part of a disguise, such as for a costume party.

No matter what the reason, one of the main priorities that people have when picking a wig to wear is for it to look real. As much as possible, nobody wants other people to know that they are wearing a wig. Fortunately, there are several kinds of wigs nowadays that are almost 100% undetectable or that can pass off as real hair even if you touch it.

One of the most popular natural-looking wigs that you can buy is the lace front wig. These wigs are typically made from natural human hair or a high quality synthetic fiber that looks and feels just like human hair. Lace front wigs are built with a lace cap that is almost imperceptible to the naked eye. Only the front half of the wig cap is actually made from lace, with the rear portion being made of some other durable kind of material that is not as undetectable as the lace.

A lot of wig wearers prefer lace front wigs because no matter how you part them, there would be no way that people can tell that you are wearing a wig. With a particularly high quality wig, it would appear that the individual strands are growing right out of your head. However, you would want to avoid tying your hair up in a high ponytail or some other kind of up-do because that will reveal the more visible cap towards the back of the head.

There are a few different kinds of lace material that are used to create lace front wigs. French lace is highly popular because it is virtually indiscernible but is still strong enough to hold a full head of hair. Swiss lace is also a favorite of many because of its sheerness and durability.
Still, when compared to other types of wigs, lace front wigs can be rather delicate and must be handled very carefully in order to minimize the risk of damage. If you shampoo them too vigorously or if you are not very gentle in putting them on and taking them off, you can cause the lace cap to rip, rendering the entire wig unusable.

Once a lace front wig has been correctly positioned and glued to the head, it can stay in place for several days at a time. There is not a lot of special maintenance procedures that you need to follow while wearing them either - you can basically go on with your life as usual, just making sure to use a special wig shampoo to wash your hair instead of your usual hair products.

However, you do need to take extra care if your lace front wig is made of synthetic hair fibers instead of real human hair. Heated styling devices may not be used for this type of wig at all because the heat will ruin the individual strands. Besides, you won't need to style synthetic wigs anyway because they will keep their original style even after you wash them or wear them while sleeping.

The average cost of a lace front wig is approximately #50,000 but the actual price can be as low as #10,000 or as high as several thousands of nairas. It would depend on the type of lace used, on whether the hair strands are real or synthetic, and on the name of the manufacturer.
